Choose the right format for your group. All programmes can be tailored individually and combined by arrangement.
Explore the townhouse at your own pace! With an exciting puzzle sheet, children discover the historic workshops, search for hidden clues and solve challenges about old craft tools.
Try out old tools and equipment yourself! We craft together, experiment with historic techniques – from writing with a quill feather to typing on a real vintage typewriter.
How was bread baked in the old days? We explore the historic bakery, grind grain ourselves and knead dough. A sensory experience tracing the journey of bread from mill to table.
How did the world of work change from manual labour to industrialisation? A tour of the entire museum traces technological progress through authentic original exhibits.
Our classic tour, adapted for every age group. Ideal for a first overview of 500 years of crafts and local history in Ovelgönne – including fascinating stories and anecdotes.
With our explorer booklets, children discover the museum at their own pace. Puzzles, drawing, exploring – a great adventure for a family Sunday visit. Available free at the entrance.
The children were still talking about the visit weeks later. When they were allowed to hold the quill pen themselves, their enthusiasm was boundless. That is how you learn history.
A perfect outing for our nursery group. The tour was perfectly tailored to the young children – calm, visual and always attentive to the curiosity of the smallest ones.
For our history lessons on industrialisation, the thematic tour "Crafts Through the Ages" was a real gain. Authentic, informative and enthusiastically received by the class.
